Anchorage Glacier Pilots - Helping Hands

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots and the Mt View Lions have worked together for over 15 years. We have been there to sell tickets at the gates, check box seats, and sell 50/50 tickets to the fans for as long as I can remember helping. We also helped when they started their Pilot’s concession stand where I was usually cooking hot dogs and Pilot Dogs on the grill, helping with clean up at the end of the night and the big July 4th events such as the year we set the record 90 degrees in Anchorage. Our members have helped with hosting college players in the past becoming part of our summer families and friendships afterwards.

We have had many members at the posts but find there are a few slots which we haven’t been able to fill. We are looking for our own members, potential new members, and other Lions club members who would like to help make Anchorage Glacier Pilots Baseball the opportunity for college players from around the country hone their skills this summer. Follow the Pilots at https://www.facebook.com/glacierpilots where you can see the upcoming games, find information on hosting players and the team. Current openings to help with the Mt. View Lions at the games can be found at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4AA4AE22A2FAC70-49810830-anchorage. If the slots are filled, you can send an email to pilotbaseball@mtviewlions.org to ask about alternates or substitution for one of the previously signed up volunteers who could use a break.
